Named after the Septimer Pass, which stretches between the border of Switzerland and Italy, Ritchey’s Septimer spans Tom Ritchey’s concept of an all-road bike that doesn’t take sides. Tom designed this bike to be the one bike you’ll ever need, whether you’re uncovering stealthy new routes that have so far stayed hidden, or your need for adventure snaps the tether that’s kept you grounded until now.

To approach the pass from the south, Ritchey’s Septimer gives you a lightweight carbon fibre frame and fork — ideal for reaching its highest point. The road, which hasn’t changed much in a couple thousand years, can be overcome with 700 x 48c tires. To get there — or almost anywhere — Ritchey’s patented Break-Away system lets you easily and quickly disassemble your bike to fit into its own sturdy travel case. Once at your destination, the bike assembles with ease, allowing you to set off on your journey without wasting a moment. External cable routing also takes away some of the hassle of prepping your bike for traveling. Multiple mounts keep your gear within easy reach to keep the adventure in motion. Compatible with 1x or 2x cranksets for pedalling toward a distant destination or climbing an ancient pass.
